A parade celebrates the opening of the Bath International Music Festival every year. Children dress up, bands play on the streets, street performers entertain, and a parade of people (some playing music and others dressed brightly and carrying props) walk from one end of the street to the other. The day was rainy, but it did not prevent people from joining in the celebrations.

Avebury Stones

This past weekend, I went on the "Great White Horse Tour"; this is the name I have given to the road trip to see the white horses carved into the cliffs around the Wiltshire area. Along the way, we stopped off at Avebury and had a look at the Avebury stones. The stones are in a pasture with sheep and several large lambs. I loved the stones as a backdrop to the sheep.

About a month ago, I took some photographs of daffodils in the park. The tulips and other spring flowers are also blooming nicely, so I waited for a sunny day and took a few photographs of them with the Royal Crescent in the background.
