A friend from the West Country visited me this weekend, and we headed over to Stonehenge and Salisbury for the day. Although the weather was rainy, we still managed to have a wonderful day.

I have just returned from a week's break in Morocco. Staying in Marrakesh, I ventured into the souqs, travelled to the west coast to Essauria, and went deep into the Atlas Mountains to the edge of the desert and visited a film studio.
Morocco is a colourful country, and I enjoyed visiting the souqs and soaking up the atmosphere. The colours were vibrant; bold reds, bright yellows, deep blues. The spice souqs were particularly colourful with spices piled high; red chilli, yellow tumeric, green herbs. The rugs, dyed wool, and pottery were just as vibrant.
A few of my favourite photos celebrating the souqs in Morocco are below.
