One of my favourite flowers is the blue-purple variety of the cornflower, also called the Bachelor's Button (Centaurea Cyanus). The flower thrives in the sun and has delicate and detailed petals, and they are very bright and bring much colour to a flowerbed or meadow. Typically, they are a flower that grows in the wild, and they remind me of the countryside.
I have decided to use the cornflower as the primary flower for my wedding. It will be paired with sage green (green being my favourite colour) and cream.

I have searched the Internet for variations of displays featuring cornflowers as a primary flower. Here are some pretty combinations using the cornflower as a primary flower that I discovered.
Let me know if you are using cornflowers in your wedding, or if you have used cornflowers, and I would love to see some photographs.

Excellent post at Cornflower Beauty - Flower and Wedding Arrangements - Jenikya's Blog. I was checking constantly this blog and I'm impressed! Extremely helpful info specially the last part :) I care for such info a lot. I was seeking this particular info for a very long time. Thank you and good luck.
It is good to find this post. I had my wedding in a very traditional chinese way, but I liked your wedding arrangement very much.
My friend is gonna get married and I think it will be very good recommendation for her, since she would like to have a western ceremony. But one thing I am concered about is whether she can find Cornflower in her city. But at least I think she can go with the color conbination including purple, yellow and red and so on.
Thanks again, your post is a very good reference. Good luck:)
Hi Mandy, Yes, I love the colour combinations with the cornflower too. And only a little goes a long way. I love the colours in the last photograph especially with the bright red/orange. I am sure she'd be able to have a florist track down cornflowers (a.k.a. Bachelor's Buttons) or get something similar. Congratulations to your friend, and I hope her wedding is amazing.
