For the second time this year, the northern lights have lit up the skies in London, much further south than they have been in the past. This was the second glimpse of the northern lights that I saw over London this year with the first having taken place in the middle of May on the same day of the month as the show overnight and into this morning. (Readers can read about the May northern lights over London here.) Last night, the northern lights were much stronger in colour and were almost overhead with a large portion of sky filled with reds and greens.
The northern lights were beautiful, and seeing them for a second time this year was a treat.
