Godfrey's sells gourmet small-batch popcorn in the heart of London at Covent Garden, and the shop has been open since last summer. I love popcorn, so I happened to chance upon this little shop when I was in the area and bought a bag of the butter. Butter popcorn is the popular flavour in America when visiting the cinema, and cheese and caramel are also staple flavours of American popcorn. The shop sold all three with additional seasonal flavours.

I bought and enjoyed the butter flavour, and it was delicious. The shop started out of a love for popcorn and the grandfather of the owner having been a lover of popcorn at the cinema during the 1940s and enjoying to experiment with different flavours. (At first, I thought this may be an American company due to the flavours on offer, but it is British.)

The popcorn is popped into fluffy large-sized pieces, and this was better for me so that I didn't chip a tooth on a hard kernel.
