I visited Mr. Fogg's Society of Exploration cocktail bar near Charing Cross earlier this month. I've been wanting to visit it for awhile, and a friend and I decided to go for birthday cocktails. The cocktail bars are Victorian-themed from the fictional world explorer named Mr. Fogg. Each location has a different selection of cocktails to try. This venue is decorated as a library and "society for explorers" with a train carriage and Victorian-style decor.
We tried a selection of different cocktails. One of the most memorable comes in a glass sitting atop a camel ornament. This was "The Golden Camel" - tequila, chilli, and mango. The cocktail was one of my favourites.
I also had on served in a glowing lantern.
As it was our birthday, Mr. Fogg provided us a telegram to wish us both a happy birthday.
I loved the Victorian theme and cocktails here. I would like to come back and try more, and food is also served here too.
