The City of London has hosted a couple of light sculpture installations (at Principle Place and CityPoint) for the past few years. These are managed by Brookfield Properties and brings together interesting and interactive light-based sculptures to London during the winter months. The sculptures were launched in October and were taken away at the end of the month.
The sculpture at CityPoint featured a selection of little sculptures with eyes that lit up in different LED illustrations, and many had a button that, when pressed, would play music.
The other sculpture I did see back in the autumn, but I did not photograph it. When I went to photograph it, it had been removed already ahead of time. This on was a large sphere located outside of Principal Place near to Liverpool Street.
